Difference between Organic Positioning (SEO) and Paid Positioning (SEM)

In order to be positioned in search engines there are two ways:

-Organic Positioning or SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

-Paid positioning or SEM (Search Engine Marketing).

Organic Positioning or SEO: It is a process of constancy, where it plays a very important role to mention our website, have visibility in social networks and make as many links, all of the above are strategies to have recognition and bring more traffic to the website.

What should we take into account?

Speed of our site, social networks, content, hashtag, keywords, link-Building, links pointing to our website and tags.

To see results in search engines with organic positioning, you must do a daily work.

Paid positioning or SEM: The positioning is paid where we create campaigns and ads using keywords and Google AdWords tools.

Google, positions or shows in the first three positions of the search results and in a column located on the right side, the companies that register to make use of the Google AdWords -PPC service. The cost per click depends on the market, the competition, and the maximum cost that the user is willing to pay, among other factors that AdWords analyzes to generate this charge.

The PPC: in English is called (pay per click), where search engines charge companies at the time they make use of this service.

The results in search engines with SEM positioning, will be for a period until the budget allocated to the campaigns is exhausted.

They are two forms of positioning, both help depending on the needs of each company.

My suggestion is to start in parallel with both, the company will be positioned through paid advertising at the beginning, additionally you could create a daily schedule of own and external content (always give credit to the original source) to share through our social networks and on our website, to work with organic positioning.

Why work this way?

To take advantage of the resources that paid positioning, while we are positioning our page through organic positioning.
