My name is Oscar Enrique Hernández Tortolero. I was born on August 5, 1954, in Villa de Cura, Aragua State, Venezuela.
I trained as an Economist (1973 - 1978) at the USM and did a Master in Business Administration (1979 - 1981) at the UCAB.
Between 1979 and 2004 I worked in Venezuelan and transnational oil companies, which, by getting to know different organizational cultures, allowed me to enrich my academic knowledge and develop supervisory and managerial skills.
I worked with deep vocation and passion as a university lecturer, teaching Economics and Statistics, from 1979 to 2015.
Since 2004 I have been working as an Organizational Development Consultant. I have been developing this activity with enthusiasm and successfully, thanks, on the one hand, to my strong principles and human values; and on the other hand, to my intellectual values and extensive professional experience.
In 2015, I published my first book, "Relatos en Letras", which contains eight (8) stories of experiences (my own or of others) that address work, personal, emotional and social circumstances, which lead to reflection. I use this book in some of my workshops as an educational support, generating deep interest in the attendees.
I have other editorial projects in the field of Organizational Management, which will be published soon.
I fully enjoy my professional activity, since, as a natural leader, dynamic, educator and communicator, I like to support Organizations in their Planning, Change Management, Human Capital Management and Talent Management processes.
